Returns and Refunds

Paint the Town Green offers the following returns policy

If you buy paint from us, please be aware that we mix all our paint to order. For this reason, we don’t offer as standard refunds or returns.

However, this said, it is always worth – if you do have a last minute change of heart on your colour scheme – to have a chat with us. If we know that this same colour that has been mixed for you has been ordered or another one of our customers is wanting to decorate using that colour in the near future, then we would be happy to oblige and do an exchange for you. The tin must be unopened, the sealant tape in tact and you must have a valid proof of purchase.

We are unable to offer any exchange of refund on opened tins of paint. This does not effect your statutory rights.

In accordance with the Consumer Contract Regulation of 2014 you are entitled to cancel your order from the time it was placed, until 14 days after you have received the goods. However, in line with this regulation, as all our paint is tinted to order and therefore bespoke, we are unable to cancel any orders that have been dispatched.

In accordance with the Consumer Rights Act of 2015 we will only refund products that are not fit for purpose. This right is limited to 30 days from the date the order is placed. If a refund request is made 30 days after the date the order is placed, we will supply a replacement, if this is still not fit for purpose, a refund will be offered.

Should you wish to request a refund please contact us on 0208 871 0531. Please keep the faulty product as samples may be required. We will advise if the product should be returned to us.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
