Background
Project Overview
We were delighted to handle the painting and decorating for Troubadour Goods' flagship store in Soho. As a certified B Corp, Troubadour creates lightweight, all-weather backpacks using high-performance materials, including fabrics made from recycled water bottles.
Their 30-square-metre space at 65 Beak Street showcases the full collection and features a repair and trade-in service, allowing customers to exchange old bags for credit towards a new purchase.
Scope of Work
The project involved a complete redecoration of both the interior and exterior, including:
- Walls, ceiling, and fixtures
- Extensive prep work to correct previous remedial work
- A sleek, modern finish that aligned with Troubadour’s brand aesthetic
Sustainable Paint Choices
In keeping with Troubadour’s commitment to sustainability, we used COAT—a fellow B Corp and eco-friendly paint brand. Our decorators applied two coats for a flawless finish using the following shades:
- Walls & Central Display Island: The Trail
- Display Shelf: Nomad
- Walls & Cover: Sweatpants
- Shelf: Dodie
- Till Area: Old Street
- Exterior: Brewer*
*For the exterior we mixed a similar colour to Brewer in Dulux Exterior Weathershield since COAT don’t sell this colour in exterior paint.
The result is a sustainable, sleek, contemporary flagship store for a purpose driven innovative luggage brand.
