Paint The Town Green

Yesterday all the children at Swaffield Primary School wore green to show their involvement with the school’s annual Eco Day.

Phil Robinson, owner and founder of Paint The Town Green was invited to speak at their eco assembly, in front of the whole school. Phil was invited to talk to the children in his role as a local entrepreneur running a business based on environmentally friendly principles.

Somewhat daunted at the prospect of talking to so many children about himself Phil took to the stage and as the children started joining in and answering his questions, he soon found his flow. They heard all about how Paint The Town Green’s paint is manufactured and got a little insight into geothermal power, from volcanoes.

Phil was impressed with the pupil’s knowledge, one student was even able to talk about the volcanic ash cloud from 2010.

Paint The Town Green is happy to be involved with the local community and we all went home yesterday feeling happy to have been able to inspire some young minds and share in Swaffield’s Eco Day.
