Giving Back: Age UK Wandsworth

It's amazing the effect that fresh paint or new wallpaper can have - not just on a home - but on its inhabitants. 

We love hearing reports from our clients that they feel happier or more optimistic with their new surroundings. 

So earlier this year, we thought it would be great to see if we could spread this feeling to our local community - by offering complimentary redecorating services to nearby charities. 

In December 2022, we got the chance to visit the offices of Age UK Wandsworth, a fantastic charity helping elderly residents in the surrounding area. 

Their premises had last been decorated 15 years ago - so we thought they really would benefit from a refresh!

Whilst Age UK Wandsworth offers a wide range of services and frequently hosts coffee mornings and other social and physical activities such as Yoga mornings across Wandsworth, the charity's offices are an essential resource as they allow local residents to drop in for everything from a friendly chat over coffee to crucial advice on how to manage their finances or heat their home. 

We chose a clean-but-comforting blue to impart a sense of well-being to visitors and dispatched our Sustainability lead, a decorator and even our founder, Phil Robinson to complete the job to the highest standard. 

Within one day, we had transformed the charity's offices and given both their team members and the local residents the space they deserved. 

Age UK Wandsworth was delighted with the work and we hope that they can continue to use the space to provide invaluable services to the local community.
